FASTRAK LM SE Touring Series Guarantees $200 Tow Money for rain outs in 2008

The FASTRAK Racing Series, known to be the series that takes care of their teams and tracks, announces a rain out policy for both teams and track owners. Every team coming to a Touring event in the SE United States will be guaranteed a minimum of $200. �It cost a lot of money to run up and down the road. Fuel has gotten ridiculous and we appreciate the teams that race with us said Founder Stan Lester. This is just one more way we can give back to them for supporting FASTRAK�. Rules for receiving �tow money� are posted at the bottom of this release.

The teams are not the only ones that will receive money for inclement weather. Tracks will be paid $1000 for any event that is rained out as well. �No different than the teams the tracks have a large investment and this is simply a way to help them with their expenses for the night. Rain is something none of us can help but if I were a track owner and FASTRAK wrote me a check for $1000 if the race were rained out, I sure would appreciate it. It takes all of is to make this work and hopefully this gesture makes a difference in the way people see our Series. FASTRAK really is a family affair. I know that sounds corny to some people, but if they have spent much time with us, they know exactly what we mean. All of our people affiliated with FASTRAK are close and that really makes a difference with how things are done. Just so all the tracks know, this is not something the track itself has to pay. This is furnished 100% by the FASTRAK Series.

Rules for receiving Tow Money for teams:

• Must rain race out between the hours of 4:00 � 7:00 PM on race day.
• Must rain a minimum of 1/5th of an inch.
• Must be a member of FASTRAK previous to rain out.
• Teams will be mailed checks on Monday following the rain out. (No way to know how many to have at the track)

Rules for Tracks to receive $1000 for rain out are the same as above. This is for tracks in the South East United States holding a FASTRAK sanctioned Touring event.

After reading this it must mean that its worth at least 200 dollars to attempt to make any Fastrak Touring race, lets see same distance to track, same amount of gas, everything seems the same except the rain so its got to mean that if your a member and attempt to make the race you will get 200.00
