B&B Motorsports Preps for ‘March Madness’ Following Busy Opening Weekend!

(MOORESVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA) The B&B Motorsports team, with Larry Blankenship and Daniel Baggerly behind the wheel of their respective Barry Wright racecars, opened up their 2008 racing season last weekend in a pair of Dirt Late Model events in South Carolina. First up was the '08 O'Reilly Southern Allstars East Series opener at the Travelers Rest Speedway in Travelers Rest, South Carolina on Saturday, February 23. It was the team's first-ever appearance at Travelers Rest and unfortunately both Larry and Daniel failed to make the starting field for the $4,000 to win feature event.

Things got better for the team on Sunday, February 24, as both drivers invaded the Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina. Larry was running a solid fourth in the $1,500 to win main event before suffering a flat tire, which sidelined him for the rest of the afternoon. Daniel, after a conservative heat race, charged from the back of the pack in the A-Main to finish ninth in the final rundown. You can learn more about each of these races online at www.southern-allstars.com and www.cherokee-speedway.com!

Larry and his #32 team will once again compete at the Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina this coming weekend, as the annual ‘March Madness’ event will be held at the historic speedplant. The O’Reilly Southern Allstars East Series will preside over the $10,000 to win race on Sunday, March 2. An open practice session will also be held at Cherokee on Saturday, which will allow Larry to tune on his Barry Wright machine prior to Sunday’s one-day show. Daniel is doubtful if he will be able to attend ‘March Madness’ this weekend due to an important school commitment. For more information on this event, please access www.cherokee-speedway.com!

The B&B Motorsports team would like to thank the following marketing partners for their continued support and dedication: Encompass Solutions, Atlantic Engineering, Barry Wright Race Cars, Big A's Custom Graphics, LB Drywall, R.E. Suspensions, Swift Springs, and Virginia RACE to GED.

Keep up with the B&B Motorsports team all year long on their official home on the web, which is located at www.b-n-bmotorsports.com!
