Crate Late-Models -
02-09-2008, 03:40 PM
Ok guys I need some help here please.
I need to know all the Crate drivers that plan on racing at RTR if we are not sanctioned by Fastrak. And I also need to know any drivers that will be running at RTR if we were to get Fastrak sanctioning. We are looking at going each way closely, and driver input will play a part in the decision. By Fastrak changing it's structure this year RTR might play a part in helping out local drivers. |

Thanks Dennis, appreciate the reply. With the other track going Fastrak, we are wondering now with the changes Fastrak has made in there points deal if it would benifit RTR guys by us going Fastrak.
Looks like it might help the class, we would like to know what the racers think. |

Well everyone knows I always have an opinion, and here it is.
I think Fastrak sanction just makes everything go smoother. Points, Rules, everything is the same for everyone. The only other thing is tires. With 311 going to be Goodyears only along with Wythe and Princeton. Most teams will only have to have 8-10 tires ready. Last year I had 28 tires mounted and ready, Hoosier (3 compounds) American Racer (1 compound) and Goodyear (2 compounds). So I think that is the biggest issue. |

I agree with what everyone else is saying I am sure you will have more drivers if you go Fasttrak because it makes everything look better on you. With that said I am sure Chase McCormick will be racing up there some this year. I also assume the guys from Cook Cleaners that race sometimes at Wythe will race along with Phill Gann. I am not sure what it will cost the Track to get sanctioned but I am sure it couldnt hurt any.
