The links directory was a hand kept index of the regional racing web: track sites, series sites, chassis and parts builders, driver pages, photographers and other message boards. It predates the habit of searching for everything, and it is a good record of which local operations had a website at all in the late 2000s.
Entries were submitted by members and approved by staff, then filed into categories and counted for clicks.
What the archive still holds

Category pages
Several category index captures survive and show how the directory was organised.
Dead targets
A large share of the sites linked to have since gone offline or changed hands entirely.
The directory is not rebuilt here. Republishing it would mean pointing visitors at hundreds of URLs that no longer resolve, or that now belong to somebody else, and neither is useful. The captures remain the better record.
