There is no live contact form on this site and there never will be one. The original site’s contact route was the vBulletin private message and email system at sendmessage.php, which required an account on a board that has been closed since 2016. Reproducing it as a working form would be pretending the community is still there to answer.
If you are looking for the original site staff
They are not reachable here. This restoration is not run by the people who ran Local Race Chat, and no staff email address, name or phone number survives in any capture. The site rules refer to emailing the staff repeatedly, but the addresses themselves were behind the login and were never archived.
If you were part of LRC and you want something on this site changed, that is a reasonable request and it should be easy to make. Use whatever contact route is published by whoever hosts this restoration.
Reasons to get in touch
- A factual error. If a track name, a forum number, a date or a member handle is wrong, it should be corrected. Every claim on this site is supposed to trace back to an archive capture, so an error is a real defect.
- A member handle. The news archive names members because the portal named them. If you are one of them and you would rather not be listed, that is a fair request.
- A photograph. No photograph here came from Local Race Chat, but if you believe an image has been misattributed, say so and it will be checked.
- Something the archive missed. If you have material from the original site, particularly anything from the gallery or the classifieds, it may be possible to record it properly.
What cannot be done
Board accounts
The board is closed. No accounts exist, none can be created, and no password can be reset.
Old posts
Roughly 240,000 thread URLs exist as Internet Archive records, but the posts were never exported and cannot be retrieved from this site. Search the archive directly.
Classified listings
No listing text, price or seller detail survives. Nothing can be looked up.
Advertising
Nothing is being sold. See the advertise page for how it worked historically.
Reading the original for yourself
Most questions about what the site said are answered faster by the archive than by asking. The February 2016 capture is the fullest one, and the forums directory on this site links section by section into it.
Local Race Chat and its original content remain the property of their authors. If you are one of those authors and something here is wrong, correcting it takes priority over keeping the page tidy.
